Isola vulcanica africana?
Ieri notte stavo guardando un documentario su national geographic channel, e parlavano di un'isoletta a un tot di km dalla costa africana che si affaccia sull'atlantico, abbastanza a nord…
Insomma, un'isoletta vulcanica in cui praticamente si sta cominciando a creare tipo una faglia che divide in due l'isola e che, qualora dovesse aprirsi completamente, comporterebbe la caduta in mare di una quantità tale di detriti di lava solidificata che creerebbe uno tsunami di tipo 600metri che si abbatterebbe sulla costa americana.
La domanda è… come si chiama quest'isola? è da ieri che la cerco su internet perchè mi piace leggere queste cose (anche perchè il paesaggio era veramente stupendo) . Mi piace sapere come e perchè si verificano terremoti, eruzioni, eclissi, tutti i fenomeni naturali in genere.
Aveva un nome semplice, che cominciava con la P… e forse l'articolo prima, tipo La P….
Ah, e non sto dicendo che succederà nel 2012, eh!
